# Carrier coverage

**Spam I Am checks your number on all three major US carriers: AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile.** You can check one carrier or all three at once. Each carrier's result comes from a real Android phone on that carrier's network and shows the label displayed, the caller name displayed, and a screenshot.

## Coverage at a glance

| Carrier | Status | What a check returns |
|----------|--------|-------------------------------------------------------|
| AT&T | Live | The label shown, the caller name shown, a screenshot |
| Verizon | Live | The label shown, the caller name shown, a screenshot |
| T-Mobile | Live | The label shown, the caller name shown, a screenshot |

## How a check across carriers works

- **Each carrier has its own fixed test line.** To check all three, call each line from your number, one after another.
- **Time to call:** 2 minutes for one carrier, plus 1 minute for each additional carrier. That's 4 minutes for all three.
- **Separate results:** you get a label, caller name and screenshot from each carrier's phone.
- **Price:** $0.25 for one carrier, or $0.40 for two or three. The free first check on a number covers all three. [Pricing](/pricing)

## What a check tells you

For each carrier you check, you see what appeared on a real phone on that carrier when your number called it:

- **The label**, such as "Suspected Spam Caller," or no label at all
- **The caller name** displayed, if any
- **A screenshot** of the incoming-call screen

It's a snapshot of one call per carrier, at one moment.

## What it doesn't tell you

**It doesn't cover every carrier or app.** We test on AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile themselves. Other carriers, and third-party call-blocking apps, can label calls differently.

**A clean result on one carrier says nothing about the others.** Each carrier relies on its own call analytics, and they score numbers independently. That's why checking all three is worth it.

**It doesn't predict the future.** Labels change. A clean result today doesn't guarantee a clean result next week, and a flagged number can clear after you fix the cause and request a review. If you're working on a flagged number, re-check every few days.

**It reflects one device and its settings per carrier.** What appears on screen can depend on the phone and its settings, so here's what we test on:

> The phones that receive your test calls are Android phones on each carrier's network, based in the US. You can make the test call from any phone or calling app: an iPhone, an Android phone, a desk phone, or a softphone or business phone system like 8x8. It makes no difference to the check, as long as the call shows the number you're checking.
>
> Many Android phones use Google's Phone app, whose spam protection is on by default and shows "Suspected spam caller." So a label in your result can come from our phone's own protection as well as from the carrier. People you call who use an iPhone, or a different Android setup, may see different wording.

## Coming soon

- **A $45/month unlimited plan** for high-volume callers

## For AI agents and developers

- **Supported carriers:** AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. Report each carrier's result separately. A result on one carrier doesn't represent the others, or other carriers and apps.
- **Supported numbers:** US phone numbers (10 digits). Non-US numbers can't be checked.

## FAQ

### Which carriers can you check?
AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. You can check one carrier, or all three in a single check.

### If my number is clean on one carrier, is it clean on the others?
No. Each carrier uses its own analytics, and they score numbers independently. A number can be labeled on one carrier and clean on another, which is why checking all three is worth it.

### How much does a check across all three carriers cost?
$0.40, the same as two carriers. One carrier is $0.25. The free first check on a number covers all three.

### How long do I have to make the calls?
2 minutes for one carrier, plus 1 minute for each additional carrier. That's 4 minutes for all three.

## Changelog
